Working more and more with stock, I came up with an interesting dilemma. I've always been a sucker for contrast, be it color, tone or even conceptual. So the other day when shooting some "celebration" pictures I also tried it the other way round, take a look: Here we have the nice one on the left, and the nasty "don't-drink-too-much" on the right. There are a few questions that I have. One, is there a market for "bad" photos? Two, is it possible to "Group" contrasting images in a smart way (not with light boxes)? Three, How do you keyword negative sentences when most stock sites separate per word?
I'll do a test run with this one image, and see the response I get. I'll report back. |

The dollar is high and the krona is low - let the money flow! Money is complicated, one day your top of the world, the next a bottom feeder. One good thing with this is that where it used to be expensive, it's cheap!
Mememe is a small Swedish design-firm (that sometimes dribble with sounds) and we do what designers do. Over the years we have had the pleasure to work with many big world renowned companies such as Volvo, MTG (Modern Times Group) Astra and many small companies as well.
Now that the krona (swedish currency) is low we see a great opportunity to work with more international clients. We keep such a low price compared to what you get that this is the perfect opportunity to work with us.
The lates project involved Art Directing remotely, where we came up with a system to give video-direction to up to 40 designers that sat around the globe. The mission was 11.000 titles in two weeks. We hit the mark. That might be more than you bargain for, so even if you're after a small profile update or a logotype, we are the firm for you. The mememe concept is rather simple, as soon as we get more than one mans workload we distribute the work to freelance colleauges and keep ad QC in the chain. That means you never pay more for less. You pay less for More. For a quick of the shelf price-list call our New York number (347) 482-2026 or if your in Europe call our Malmoe number 040-693 85 21. |

what if someone asked you to design logotypes for everything and nothing? That is exactly what happened to mememe a while back. What the costumer wanted was logotypes that were formated in Photoshop using fonts they already had (and free fonts if necessary). There were about 30 categories to fill. And mememe did. There is a mix of example-titles and category-text. Click to get slide show. |

Surf posters for a while and you will see some similarities and trends that previously escaped you. One that I noticed is the "Damsel in distress" poster, fragile closeup on scared hottie. here are the nominees: The power-Damsel: The cute-Damsel: The ooo-Damsel: The What-the-Damsel: How about that, mememe - a copycat!
